About Devin Tuttle
Devin Tuttle is the co-owner and founder of Tutts, a company specializing in aeration, fertilization, and pest control in Draper, Utah. He and his dad started the company to provide the Salt Lake community with expert pest control services, processes, and industry-leading products.
Founder of Locally Owned Business
Devin and his dad opened the doors to Tutts five years ago, building the lawn care and pest control business from the ground up, establishing a reputation of trust and dependability in the community. Devin’s marketing and customer service experience, combined with his hands-on journey in operational and leadership roles, has paid off. Not only is the business a success, but the path to its success has taught him the value of consistency, vision, and hard work.
Tutts’s services include lawn aeration to improve the health and vitality of lawns by addressing issues that prevent grass growth and development. Tutts offers different options to fit its clients’ needs and budgets.
Pest control is another key service Devin Tuttle provides. He utilizes advanced technology and the finest products to effectively tackle pests in the home, including rodents, termites, flies, ants, cockroaches, and spiders. These pests can cause property damage and pose a threat to one’s health and safety.
Tutts also offers a fertilizer and weed plan to help bring a lawn back to life by improving its health and appearance.

Devin completed his first lawn aeration job at just 15 years old—an early sign of the entrepreneurial spirit that would later drive him to build Tutts.
Devin’s Personal Background
Devin Tuttle grew up in Draper, Utah, in a close-knit family. He considers his three sisters his best friends. Devin has a two-year-old son.
He attended Alta High School, where he played football and track. Devin also earned an Associate’s Degree in Communication from Utah Valley University. While at university, he placed second in a public speaking competition, strengthening his confidence and presentation skills.
Devin is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was baptized at age eight and ordained to the Aaronic Priesthood at 12, later serving in the offices of deacon, teacher, and priest.
He is strongly patriotic and faith-centered.
Devin’s Achievements and Commitment to Service
Devin was an Eagle Scout and built artificial eagle nests to protect wildlife and infrastructure from wildfires. He completed a humanitarian project in Guatemala, helping to build schools, farms, homes, and delivering aid to local communities.
Devin donates regularly to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In the past, Devin has donated to tithing and fast offerings. He also helped lead two spiritual youth camps in Utah, with a focus on God and Christ. Devin’s mission leadership experience includes roles as Senior Training Leader, District Leader (twice), and Zone Leader (seven times).
Devin also served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This mission included paying for everything completely on his own, as well as living on his own, with a companion, for two years (companions change or are replaced regularly). During this time, Devin had 7 to 8 companions within about 7 or 8 different areas.
During his mission, Devin would wake up every single day and study the scriptures. He would then join his companion to do companionship study, plan for the day, and door-knock for the remainder, all with the aim of teaching people about Jesus Christ. Throughout their Philadelphia, PA, mission, Devin and his companion would never work, date, or hang out with friends. The entirety of that time was dedicated to teaching about Christ.
He has also volunteered at a food bank in St. George for three months.
These experiences have helped shape Devin’s drive to create, lead, and serve with integrity — whether in business, community, or faith.
What is an LDS Mission?
A mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) is a voluntary, full-time service opportunity where young men (typically age 18–25) and women (usually age 19–25) dedicate 18 to 24 months to serving others and sharing the teachings of Jesus Christ. Senior couples and older individuals can also serve missions, often in different support roles. Missionaries are assigned to various locations around the world and can be called to serve in their home country or abroad. Their mission assignment is determined by church leadership through a combination of spiritual inspiration and organizational need.
During a mission, the primary focus is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, help people come closer to God, and invite others to learn about and possibly join the church. Missionaries study scriptures daily, especially the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and are trained to teach core principles of faith, repentance, baptism, and enduring to the end. They meet with individuals and families, often going door-to-door or reaching out through community service or social media.
In addition to teaching, missionaries also perform acts of service. This can include helping with disaster relief, assisting in community programs, volunteering in food banks, or simply helping neighbors with everyday needs. These acts of kindness help build trust and reflect the love of Christ in practical ways.
Missionaries follow a strict daily schedule and adhere to rules that help them stay focused and spiritually grounded. They work in pairs and are encouraged to develop discipline, resilience, and humility. Though challenging at times, many missionaries describe their service as life-changing, deepening their faith, strengthening their character, and giving them a broader view of the world and humanity.
